Most of the photos I took here including this one look so surreal to me but, that’s the feeling this area gives me. I think we left the planet as we rolled thru the clouds back there and nobody told me.

A Ladin guy was our hiking guide. I was so confused… When they said a Ladin guy would be our guide - I thought they said “Aladin a guy” and I thought that’s not what he said, he said “a Latin guy”. Then a slender blonde guy with a very loose pony tail and chilled (red) cheeks shows up with his hiking stick lookin like surfer dude/hiker. Now what did they say? lol

LADIN is an ethnic minority of about 35,000 people occupying five valleys of the Dolomites. Ladins developed their own language and it’s the oldest language of Italy’s Alpine region.
