The Rooster series - This series was all about my role as a Grandfather and my grandsons. These were a challenge since nothing was sketched, drawn or planned. All the straightlines were made using double sided tape then covered with Spackle. After it was dry I had to remember exactly where this tape was and remove it without messing up the Spackle. Sealants were used and then finished in oils. The paintings and quotes for my grandsons to live by were put together in a book I named "Spread Your Wings and Shout!".
